Scriptures for 5 Days of Transformation Meditation
Day 1:
We are regenerated (re-genesis, born-again), but we must also be renewed. Thank the Lord for being regenerated, but pray to be renewed daily.
Titus 3:5 (ESV)
He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
Day 2:
Regeneration happens to our spirit, and it is instantaneous when we believe. Renewal, or transformation happens in our mind, and it takes time.
Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Day 3:
As we are renewed in our minds by learning about our Lord and knowing Him better, we become more like Him. We even begin to develop a new nature.
Colossians 3:10 (NLT)
Put on your new nature and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.
Day 4:
We learn about Jesus and know Him better by and through the Word
Ephesians 5:26 (ESV)
That he might sanctify [us], having cleansed [us] by the washing of water with the word,
Day 5:
The world is tired of ‘fake Christians’. They wants to know that we are the real thing:
Rom 8:19
For [even the whole] creation waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be revealed [made known]
