2 Benjamin: Armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left hand to sling stones and to shoot arrows from the bow.
Versatile people of quick action. They are aggressive and results oriented, with a warrior spirit.
8 Gad: Trained for battle. They were experts with shield and spear, with faces like the faces of lions and they were as swift as the gazelles on the mountains.
Determined and tenacious in accomplishing tasks. They are not deterred by difficult situations, staying with something until it is completed. They have an experience, accompanied by faith.
16-18 Judah: We are yours, O David; we are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace and prosperity to you, and success to all who help you! For your God is the One who helps you. David received them and made them leaders.
Trusted, loyal supporters, and not influenced by the negative or naysayers. Encouragers, enthusiastic, and energetic. Idea people.
19-21 Manasseh: Captains of thousands. They helped David against the band of raiders. They were all brave and strong (influential) warriors who became commanders.
Supporters – public and private. Stable and loyal; sticking with you through the ups and downs. They are strong, proven leaders.
25 Simeon: Fit or drafted for war.
Not volunteers or outspoken, but they are willing when asked and capable when trained. They can be steady and dependable.
26 Levi: Spiritual warriors, experts with the sword - Word.
View everything through a spiritual lens. Their weapons for any battle are the Word & prayer.
30 Ephraim: Famous men (men of renown, respected) throughout their father’s house.
People who are well known and respected professionally and in the community. Their influence can open doors.
32 Issachar: Understood the times, to know what they should do. Skilled in reading the signs of the times to know what course of action they should follow.
Change agents. Creative thinkers, who introduce fresh ideas, relative to the times. Bold people, not afraid of risk.
33 Zebulun: Expert (skilled and experienced) in war (prepared) with all weapons of war; men with undivided hearts, who could keep ranks (order and set battle formation).
People who value learning and gain wisdom through experience. They are very knowledgeable and focused, and they understand both taking action and being adaptable. They have the ability to include, direct and guide others.
34 Naphtali: Equipped with the heavy shield and spear.
People who take on tasks with a belief in possibilities. They are positive, encouraging, and always ready to move forward.
35 Dan: They could keep (draw up in) battle formation, because they were well drilled and prepared.
People of sound judgment and good counsel. They are deliberate, tempered with wisdom, experience, and patience. They help others stay focused and on track.
36 Asher: Trained, able (experienced and prepared) to keep in battle formation.
Good, dependable workers. They take orders well, always with excellent attitudes. Respectful of order authority.
37 Reuben: They could draw up in battle formation with all kinds of weapons of war. They came from the other side of Jordan, with a loyal heart.
They are people of action who see the need, take on the responsibility and get results at a variety of task, without having to be asked, told, or even supervised.
