Jesus Appears in the Old Testament pt 1
See Jesus through Prophecies, Types & Shadows, and Actual Appearances
A Shadow is an outline or a silhouette of a real object. It indicates the presence and basic form of the reality, but lacks the substance and permanence of the object itself.
Shadows are temporary and incomplete,
and to be replaced by the permanent, perfect substance.
Types are real people, objects, events, or institutions in the Old Testament that God ordained to serve as a model, prototype, or prophetic pattern for a greater reality in the New Testament, fulfilled in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Moses is a Type of Christ – A pattern for how Christ would function

Num 12:6-8
Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.
7 Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house.
8 I speak with him face to face,
Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; and he sees the form of the Lord.
How do we Reconcile this with what Jesus declared?
John 5:37
The Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me.
You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.
Jesus makes it clear that no one has seen the Father

No one has seen God at any time.
The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
John 6:46 (AMP)
Not that anyone has ever seen Him except He [Who was with the Father]
Who comes from God; He [alone] has seen the Father.
So, who does Moses see?
Jesus states that Moses & Abraham saw Him, & that He is the “I AM”
John 8:56-59
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad."
57 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?"
58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Leviticus 24:16
Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death.
All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native,
when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
John 14:7-9
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him and have seen Him."
8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."
9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say,
'Show us the Father'?
